♥ COLOUR: Everything but brown.
Let me introduce myself: My name is Michelle and my name means "Who is like God?". I am an apprentice at Schnittbogen Vienna and together withmy team I transform the Kunstforum Museum flags into cool REFISHED bags.
I love good food in all possible variations, I have a special weakness for the cuisine of my homeland. I grew up in Romania in the countryside, on a farm, together with four siblings, one of which was adopted by my parents.
When I'm not working, I like to read or dance or spend time with people who are important to me. I spend a lot of time tidying up.
I am very happy because I am currently living my biggest dream: to sustain myself through work that I enjoy.
I like being at work because I really like my colleagues and the whole atmosphere in our studio in the Stadtbahn Bogen. Since I spend a lot of time here, my work and my private life merge, which doesn't bother me at all.
A normal working day for me looks like this: I arrive at half past seven, have breakfast and the first coffee. I start working at eight, after I have checeked the agenda for today.
As an apprentice girl, I have all kinds of tasks from ironing, to sewing on the machine or by hand, putting things away that are in the way, which is often the case in a workshop.
Every day I learn something new, be it technical or human, which I like very much. I usually stay until five o'clock.
It is very important for me to be authentic and to stay true to myself. I love meeting new people and having stimulating conversations with them. Or just to look at the moon for once. What I don't like at all is when someone lies, is chaotic or unpunctual.
Three things I would take with me to an island: a knife, a fishing rod and a compass.
My favourite REFISHED product: the fanny pack 'Bum Bag' made from Kunstforum flags.
